Position: Process Engineer

Location: Amphenol Ardent Concepts – Hampton, NH

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, define and document the manufacturing processes and tooling required for building high-speed connectors and sockets 
  • Review, understand and ensure manufacturing process meets customer and industry specifications and requirements
  • Manage and drive transition of manufacturing processes 
  • Produce detailed analysis of failures to determine root cause and corrective actions to manufacturing process and/or product design

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Ability to apply analytical and statistical approach to problem solving and process improvement
  • Able to lead and manage product/process development and transition to production
  • Ability to design and support manufacturing tooling and fixtures 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with mechanical design software such as Solidworks or CREO is a plus

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or other technical discipline
  • Interest and ability to perform disciplined engineering problem solving on manufacturing processes and design
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivated, strong drive and ability, willingness to learn
