Internship Program Overview:  

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.

 

Summary of Role: 

As a Finance Project Management Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in the Process Optimization group, supporting transformation initiatives across Finance. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to simplify, standardize, and redesign accounting processes that enable GF to operate more efficiently and effectively. This internship involves investigating and analyzing business functions, identifying opportunities for improvement through enhanced IT services, and developing clear specifications and acceptance criteria for system implementations.

 

Essential Responsibilities include:  

  • Conducts thorough diagnostics and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across general business operations, strategic initiatives, and operational planning efforts.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the business vision, drivers for change, current challenges, and internal/external influences to recommend effective solutions and alternatives.
  • Defines the scope and objectives of business processes by aligning customer needs with application, operational, and industry requirements.
  • Documents project requirements clearly and comprehensively using appropriate tools such as business requirement documents, scope matrices, and use cases.

 

Other Responsibilities:  

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Education – Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Management, Program Management, Finance or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
  • Language Fluency:  English (Written & Verbal)
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing  
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. 
  • Travel - Up to 10%  

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience 
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. 
  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range  

$20.00 - $40.00  

 

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
