Career Accelerator Program - Analog IC Design Engineer

The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization. About the Job As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you'll architect new TI products and make our customers' visions a reality. You'll define, design, model and verify integrated circuits, with the opportunity to work in a lot of exciting areas and with industry experts. Here's your chance to work as part of a dynamic and challenging engineering team on the latest semiconductor technology within the Analog Technology Development team. The ATD team creates world-class manufacturing technologies by: - Developing new process platforms with step-function improvements in performance and cost - Extending roadmap process technologies with new features, models and reduced costs - Creating innovative, breakthrough technologies for new markets and new products As an Analog IC Design Engineer, some of your responsibilities include: - Development of strategies for continuously monitoring the impact of process changes and convert into a design framework - Development, generation, delivery, and support of Process Design Kit (PDK) collateral - Develop, qualify, support and improve existing physical layout verification, schematic verification, Parameterized Cells (Pcell) and parasitic extraction tools within PDK - Development and support of QA tests written in a Linux-based QA tool/system - Working with Design, Process Integration, Device Modelling, ESD, Digital Cell Library, EDA, other PDK engineers. Minimum requirements: - Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Physics, or related degree - Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher Preferred qualifications: - Strong understanding of Analog and digital circuit operation - Strong understanding of diode, resistor, bipolar and FET high current device physics - Strong understanding of typical CMOS and Analog silicon process flows and the underlying process physics - Knowledge of UNIX, PERL - Strong hands-on lab experience and excellent problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery - Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skill - Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions - Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment - Ability to take the initiative and drive for results - Sound decision-making capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt accordingly
