Quality Systems and FA Intern
Job Summary:
- Support the quality engineering team in conducting failure investigations and implementing corrective actions for customer-related issues, while documenting and maintaining analysis data, and facilitating interactions regarding customer quality and reliability through comprehensive analysis FA (8D) reports.
- Aid in planning and processing customer returns, as well as scheduling and executing the analysis from beginning to end.
- Collaborate with the quality engineer, circuit design, process, and product/test engineers across the business unit to perform DC electrical testing, circuit analysis/troubleshooting, fault isolation, and micro-probing, among other tasks as needed. Create and document detailed step-by-step tests required for each product family.
- Partner with the quality engineer and Application team to test customer returns based on bench analysis.
- Assist the quality engineer in recognizing and initiating actions that will lead to the continuous enhancement of the Quality System, products, and processes.
Education/Experience:
- College student working toward a B.S or M.S. in EE, Computer Science, or a related field.
Specific Requirements:
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, inspection, assembly, and test methods. Knowledge of semiconductor processing and analysis equipment is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communications skills are essential.
- Self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner and well-organized
- Highly responsible, a good team player with good presentation skills
- Proficiency with common office computer software programs such as MS-Office.

The Salary Range for this position is $29 – $34 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
