JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of best known methods for build and test of our beam lithography system. Lead the work with external contract design and manufacturing companies. Be part of our internal core technology engineering and the transition to mass production.

This role requires at least 4 years’ experience in design/manufacturing for semiconductor equipment, with background in vacuum systems, vacuum chamber control, and wafer handling.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface with vendors; ensure parts meet requirements
• Support the build, test, and deployment of our products
• Work with operations to establish the manufacturing engineering function
• Design fixtures as needed for production

EXPERIENCE 

• Semiconductor capital equipment experience
• Solidworks
• FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and thermal modeling
• Vacuum systems
• Cable design and connector selection for high vacuum chambers
• Wafer handling equipment
• Familiar with SEMI S2/S8 and NRTL requirements for capital equipment

EDUCATION

• B.S. or higher degree in mechanical engineering
• 4 years industry experience in semiconductor equipment
