JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ESH SUMMER INTERN

June 2026

 

 

MEMC, a semiconductor manufacturing facility in St Peters, Missouri, is looking to fill the roll of summer intern for its Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) Department for a specific task: to create carbon footprints (CFP) for two of its wafer products. These footprints will be used by MEMC and its parent corporation in the ongoing commitment to meet our sustainability goals.

Job Details

  • 60 days Internship
  • Full time, day shift schedule, no weekends
  • Compensation $25hr

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize an existing Excel spreadsheet template to build CFPs based on product specifications and the cleanroom manufacturing and support processes
  • Build collaborative internal relationships with manufacturing and Facilities teams to gather necessary information to create the CFPs.
  • Conduct research as needed to ensure compliance with ISO 14067 requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate with ESH, Facilities and manufacturing personnel

 

Qualifications

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Background in analyzing and organizing data
  • Requires a high level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact cross functionally with multiples teams
