Job Summary
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing production operations for wafer test and logistics. Major responsibilities include capacity planning, utilizing and optimizing logistics systems for production operations, and improving efficiency throughout the Operations organization.
Responsibilities:
- Capacity and Cost model for Operations, both current and future product planning
- Execute logistics transactions in Oracle and third party software for all production activity in Santa Clara site
- Test and optimize logistics software in partnership with Planning, Finance, and Vendors
- Establish standard process methodologies and tools to enable efficient workflows.
- Own and improve shipping and receiving of materials to domestic and international locations
- Inventory management at Santa Clara site
- Develop and improve process and procedure documentation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or similar field
- Familiarity with Semiconductor supply chain and manufacturing
- Knowledge of smart manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and computer tasks required.
- Computer programming skills are a plus, especially Python and C++ scripting
- Must have good planning skills and be able to work independently without supervision.
