Laser Engineer

Position: PRODUCT TEHCNOLOGY TEAM, LASER ENGINEER

Location: COVINGTON, GA

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up, Manage, operate laser process and equipment based on understanding of physics and optics
• Maintain process optimization based on knowledge of target materials(ABF/glass, etc.)
• Own engineering projects to execute yield roadmap, device targeting and attain performance target
• DOE(Design of experiment) and optimize the Hole appearance, singulation condition
• Participate cross-organizational team of engineers to identify root cause and failure analysis 
• Operate process management based on customer specification
• Support standardization of recipes and establish SOPs through concrete engineering
• Perform statistical process control tasks through the use of statistical tools 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Optic, Optical engineering, Chemistry, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar disciplines 
• Experience with module processes such as laser ablation(cutting, dicing), laser deposition, laser drill and mechanical cutting, grinding and metrology
• Familiar with semiconductor integration processes, TFT process, circuit board process
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, and strong communication skills are required
• Analytical thinking by data science and problem-solving skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

QUALITIFICATION:

• Ability to work independently, with minimum direction, and a focus on meeting commitments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and pick up new technologies very quickly

EDUCATION :

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical engineering, or related fields

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-year experiences in Semiconductor, PWB, OSAT & Quick Etching preferred but not required
