Summary of Role:
The Design Methodology team at GF is seeking a graduating student to join the team. This role will work to create of design methodology reference flow solutions for a wide variety of technology nodes focused on silicon technologies while enabling flows to reduce the customer barrier to technology adoption.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Create design methodology solutions for a wide variety of Technology nodes.
- Develop digital / analog / automotive design enablement collateral to help the Company's customers adopt the most advanced silicon technologies.
- Generate design margins through spice simulations and standard cells characterization.
- Develop methodology guidelines and techniques for design of circuits in various domains, e.g. digital, analog, RF, photonic, mmWave
- Write scripts to parse reports, create CSV files and update database tables.
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict various design outcomes using the data in the database.
- Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Relevant industry experience in Design flows, methodology development.
- Skills - java coding and/or genAI interest/coursework
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

Expected Salary Range
$63,500.00 - $85,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
