Entry Level Social Media Specialist

We are hiring a Social Media Specialist to join the Digital Marketing Team. The role requires the ability to work flexibly across multiple topics to deliver compelling content and promotions to our target audience. 

 

As the AMEC Social Media Specialist, you’ll be responsible for all social media activities related to our Americas-based stakeholders. You will coordinate, plan and executive social media campaigns and create content for a variety of purposes.

 

Responsibilities:

In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with the global social media team to:

 

Social Media Management – organic and paid

  • Write social media posts for regional social media promotions and propose new social media promotion tactics for their content
  • Develop targeted paid social media campaigns
  • Work with the Campaign Team and other stakeholders to develop content for social media channels
  • Draft evergreen content for our channels
  • Schedule & monitor social media posts in Oktopost
  • Provide regular analysis and reports to stakeholders
  • Responds to and monitors community engagement on channels, actively engaging with followers on LinkedIn

Employee Advocacy Program

  • Create regular content for advocates to user, working with stakeholders
  • Onboard users as requested by stakeholders
  • Contribute to monthly newsletter and proactively find relevant “third-party” content for tool

Key Challenges

  • Deliver content and communicate in a timely fashion
  • Propose creative approaches to content promotion and targeting
  • Be able to drive and deliver results across multiple stakeholders

Job Qualifications & minimum requirements:

  • Native English speaker with strong writing and content creation skills
  • Deep knowledge of B2B social and digital media
  • Ability to adapt writing style to the NXP tone-of-voice
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and forward thinker with natural curiosity
  • Strong project management skills: ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads
  • Experience with social media publishing tools such as Oktopost, Sprout or Hootsuite
  • *Bonus* experience with Canva
  • *Bonus* experience with social media employee advocacy programs and tools
  • *Bonus* experience with hosting interviews and/or livestreams
