Description

In this internship opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Not only will you get to know how things work in the industry, but you will also accumulate advanced technical knowledge and skills, valuable experience as well as explore full-time job opportunities at Skyworks. Responsibility:

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Working with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules
• Evaluating and optimizing prototypes of multi-chip modules 
• Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc. 
• Participating and presenting in design reviews
• Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
• Trouble-shooting and resolving design or technical issues
• Collaborating with other engineers and technicians
 

Required Experience and Skills:

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs
• Commitment for working on-site for 3 months 
• Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
• Strong career interest in RF/microwave circuits and engineering
• Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
• Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS 
• Hands-on experience in the lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments
