Test/Product Summer Engineering Intern

Summary

Located in Milpitas, CA, in Silicon Valley, our team is actively seeking a Test/Product Summer Engineering Intern to support cutting edge products for high-reliability industries (aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial).  The student should be available to work full time (40 hours/week) from June-August 2025. The student will team up with product and test engineers to support our product lines, set up automated test equipment, and test a wide range of products. This is a hands-on role working daily with engineers alongside an active on-site manufacturing line.

 

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and test engineers in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Analyze and solve technical problems and perform troubleshooting.

Deliver improvements with a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Set up and test electronic devices. Analyze test and measurement data and ensure accuracy and repeatability of test coverage.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Working towards a technical degree such as a Bachelor or Master of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.

Basic understanding of electronic circuits preferred.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Interest in learning to work with manufacturing equipment (curve tracer, digital multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies, automated testers and production test handlers).

 

Preferred Skills

  • Coursework taken on semiconductor device physics (diodes, BJTs) and microcircuit electronics.
  • Experience with software/hardware integration including calibration and debug
