Manufacturing Solutions Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in Burnet is seeking a/an Manufacturing Solutions Co-op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.


Entegris is digitizing operations and increasingly adding automation to our manufacturing capabilities. As a member of our Global Operational Excellence team you will be working with our plant teams to lead transformation of existing processes to be set up in a digital system to enable enhanced visibility, process improvement, and advanced analysis.


What You’ll Do:
• Learn Manufacturing System Technology, Terminology, Value Opportunities
• Give training on Manufacturing Execution Systems and Statistical Process Control to potential users
• Work with engineers, stakeholders to understand systems and define requirements
• Identify the highest value opportunities to focus-on for earliest implementation
• Model manufacturing processes for setup in Manufacturing Execution System
• Test / Validate Scenarios
• Provide updates to leadership on project wins, risks, next steps
• Document work, learnings to drive continuous improvement

What We Seek:
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and solving manufacturing problems with data
• Problem Solving Ability: Starting from an end goal and working back through known information to solve problems and address challenges
• Keen to Model / Quantify real world processes in digital, discrete methods
• Ability to communicate technical information and understand & address stakeholder concerns
• Leadership to organize problems, drive progress, and deliver solutions
• A drive to understand the big picture of how systems work

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
• Working experience with Statistical Process Control, Manufacturing Execution Systems, SCADA Systems
• Working experience troubleshooting systems in a manufacturing environment
• An appetite to solve problems, find value in manufacturing operations, and drive continuous improvement
• Working experience in the semiconductor industry

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
• Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
• Graduating Spring or Fall 2025

 

Eligibility:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025
  • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
