Strategic Pricing & Operations Analyst Intern (Summer 2025)

Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you’ll experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives.

Summary of Role:

This role sits within the Strategic Finance & Operations function at GlobalFoundries. This rapidly growing team works directly with our business, sales, and executive team to continuously guide business towards beneficial markets and opportunities. Members of this team enjoy strong career development opportunities through:

  • Guiding the business through dynamic and complex market/demand situations

  • Ability to quickly build and leverage an internal network

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain internal controls over the pricing activities to ensure compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholders to analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to make data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing team performance, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and decisions to internal stakeholders and customers and ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – data analytics and modeling in Excel and presentation/visualization in PPT
  • Skill in using SQL, Python, Anaplan, etc. for advanced data analytics
  • Skill in using Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization

Expected Salary Range

$20.00 - $40.00

 

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
