What You’ll Do

The Summer Intern, Market Intelligence will report to the head of Market Intelligence for the U.S. foundry business and be responsible for market modelling, competitive sensing, and market intelligence. 

The successful candidate should have the key skills required for the job, including strong analytical experience, forecasting, and modeling skills.  More importantly, the candidate must be comfortable solving problems even when data is incomplete, as well as working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Onsite at our San Jose, CA Headquarters 5 days a week

Reports to: Director of Market Intelligence

  • Demand modelling - create foundry (wafer and revenue) demand estimates for the segment under study
  • Market sensing - summarize & analyze earnings calls from key competitors and industry players to identify implications and track key market indicators
  • Analysis of macro and microeconomic trends and its impact on the foundry business
  • Present analysis based on data and sensing results
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring

  • Pursuing a Master's degree (MBA preferred) in a scientific/business discipline; Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related Physical Science preferred
  • Relevant industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal and presentation skills
