Position Overview:
As an Instrument Development Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing our analytical technologies. Work with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and implement chemical analysis methods, focusing on trace metal detection and inorganic compound analysis. Your expertise will help drive innovation and ensure the highest standards in our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare chemical compounds, test solutions, and reagents to conduct a variety of tests and experiments.
Advise and coordinate testing procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Innovate by developing and improving products, equipment, formulas, analytical methods, and processes.
Collaborate with engineers and chemists to analyze data, interpret results, and develop standardized protocols.
Support quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are met.
Document experimental findings in technical reports, prepare specifications, and establish testing standards.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or similar field
Hands-on laboratory experience with a strong foundation in experimental procedures.
Preferred experience in maintaining vacuum systems and mass spectrometers.
Familiarity with ICP-MS and its applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills.
