Financial Analyst - CTO Office

The Financial Analyst will support the CTO Office team located in Wilmington, MA. The ideal candidate will be well versed in GAAP requirements, as well as having experience with enterprise software such as SAP or Oracle, forecasting tools like Anaplan and proficiency in MS Office. . The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communications skills, and have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. This role requires interactions with multiple levels of the organization, within Business Finance, Product Line Business Units and various corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Leaders on Financial oversight within the CTO organization
- Quarterly, Annual and Long Range Budget Preparation
- Monthly & Quarterly closing with entries and analytics
- Capital Asset Support and Tracking
- Expenses Reporting and monitoring
- Headcount tracking and analysis
- Analytical Reviews of project spend and expenses
- Interface with business management
- Coordination and facilitation of Quarterly reviews
- Ad Hoc Reporting, database queries and report generation
- Support the maintenance of dashboards for spending and other financial metrics
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies within internal reporting databases and reporting platforms
- Preparation of quarterly reporting schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 0-4 Years of experience; must demonstrate working knowledge in relevant areas
- Proficiency in MS Excel (lookups, pivot tables, and macros)
- Knowledge in enterprise software like SAP/Oracle, Oracle Essbase, Data Warehousing/relational databases, and Qlikview a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Flexible with ability to handle multiple tasks within specific deadlines
- Working knowledge of GAAP, as applied to financial reporting standards
