Essential Job Functions
- Develop high-end crystal processes to meet the stringent requirements of Tier 1 semiconductor customers
- Design, develop, execute, and implement crystal processes
- Work within the Global R&D Crystal team, as well as the Equipment Design and Simulation teams on new crystal hot zones, pullers, materials, and controls to develop leading-edge products
- Support process transfer in Asia and Europe through limited international travel
- Collaborate with global manufacturing teams to solve manufacturing challenges
Ancillary Job Functions
- Active participation in patent applications
- Interdepartmental project management from research to implementation
- Broad based interactions with customers and field application engineers
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Silicon properties pertaining to crystalline growth
- Experience in crystal growth techniques and methods
- Master’s degree in related field such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Ceramic, and Metallurgical Engineering
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in simulation modeling programs such as CGSIM or Fluent
- Knowledge of crystalline Silicon properties and their influence and impact on device yield
- PhD in related field of study

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate within our global family.
